The Algerian National Committee for the Follow-up of the New Coronavirus has announced that 267 cases of the virus and 4 deaths have been recorded in one day.
In his daily press conference, Dr. Jamal Forar, spokesman for the committee, said that the total number of injuries increased to 110,49 cases, while the total deaths rose to 2,930 deaths.
Forar added that the total number of recovered cases reached 75,436, after the recovery of 193 cases within one day, explaining that most of the deaths were among the elderly, indicating that 24 injured were in intensive care.
The highest death toll from corona in Algeria was 1,133 cases in one day, and it was recorded on 24 November.
The Algerian authorities impose a curfew due to the Corona from 10 pm to 5 am in 19 states, including Algiers.
