The Governor of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah Region inaugurates the headquarters of the International Exhibition and Museum of the Biography of the Prophet and Islamic Civilization



Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Madinah Region, Chairman of the Region Development Authority, praised the message and objectives of the International Exhibition and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization, which is managed and operated by the Muslim World League with the support and empowerment of the Madinah Region Development Authority, with the aim of achieving one of the goals of the Kingdom’s vision To enrich the experience of visitors and residents, and to find cultural sites that attract them.


During its inauguration of the headquarters of the exhibition in Medina, he praised the level of modern technologies and museum halls in the exhibition, which constitutes the first nucleus of the launch of the series of Islamic museums to be launched under the umbrella of the Islamic World League in a number of world capitals.


He said that the contents and artifacts of the exhibition and the museum represent a historical legacy from which to spread the correct prophetic curriculum and the fragrant biography of the Chosen One to all parts of the world, to demonstrate the tolerance and moderation of the true religion.


And the inauguration ceremony of the exhibition was attended by the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, the head of the Association of Muslim Scholars, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, the imam and preacher of the Grand Mosque, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, Chief Executive Officer of the Zone Development Authority, Engineer Fahd bin Muhammad Al-Balashi

The Governor of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah region also briefed the exhibition that includes a number of multiple pavilions to see the milestones of the Prophet's life - may God bless him and grant him peace - in Makkah and Madinah, and the use of innovative technologies in introducing all the prophets, and innovative methods in the way of presenting the Medina Document and the Makkah Document. And the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the service of the Holy Quran and the Noble Sunnah.


During the tour, the Emir of the Medina region inaugurated the main screen of the exhibition, which is located in front of the southern square of the Prophet's Mosque, and it televses the masterpieces of the Noble Qur’an and the noble Sunnah, to serve the visitors of Medina. His Highness also viewed the private royal hall to receive official delegations of the state, which is equipped with the latest technologies. It makes the visitor live the dimensions of the Prophet's biography, historical scenes and monuments with VR and 3D display technologies.


The exhibition, which includes 25 main pavilions, is concerned with presenting the message of Islam represented in justice, peace, mercy, tolerance and moderation, relying on the Holy Quran, the biography of the Messenger, may blessings and peace be upon him, and the luminous Islamic history, and it relies on 350 educational methods and teaching methods, in addition to 150 evidence of the greatness of Islam and preserving rights Non-Muslims, in addition to displaying more than 500 artifacts and artifacts of the Prophet's era.


The exhibition also includes a cinema theater, which is the first of its kind, to present the noble Prophet’s biography through a series of films documented in a specialized way, and through documented scientific content and content to enable the visitor to simulate the reality of the biography in all its details and interact with it, and help form a human shift from the modern era to the Prophet’s era Using the latest optical display technology.


For his part, the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, thanked and appreciated His Highness the Governor of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah region, for the support that this new cultural edifice received, which translates as one of the goals of the Kingdom's vision, led by Khadim The Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz - may God preserve them - indicating that the exhibition is the core and headquarters of the museums of the Prophet’s biography and Islamic civilization that the Association is working to establish in a number of countries Islamic and non-Islamic, stressing that these projects are of importance and priority within the Association's projects and initiatives in the service of Islam and Muslims.


His Excellency Dr. Al-Issa clarified that the exhibition was recognized by a number of prominent scholars of the Islamic world, at the forefront of which were members of the Council of Senior Scholars in the Kingdom, pointing to the museum's publication of the biography of the Holy Prophet and the generalities of Islamic civilization and highlighting the cultural values ​​in the Medina Document that established the meanings of brotherhood and human coexistence, expressing His Excellency His aspirations for this type of museums to contribute in a central way to spreading awareness inside and outside the Islamic community, starting from the headquarters in Madinah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, an incubator of moderation and a reference in Islamic leadership.
