Eng. Ahmed Youssef, CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, met with representatives of a group of Jordanian tourism companies, on the sidelines of the introductory visit activities organized by the Ministry represented by the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion for 20 Jordanian tourism companies and a number of representatives of the Jordanian media to visit a number of destinations Tourist and archaeological in Egypt.
During the meeting, Eng. Ahmed Youssef reviewed the efforts made by the Egyptian state to support the tourism sector during the crisis of the new Corona virus pandemic, and the precautionary measures and health safety controls issued by the Ministry to resume the resumption of inbound tourism to Egypt as of last July, which are applied in tourism and hotel facilities, museums and archaeological sites. To ensure the health and safety of visitors, tourists and workers in the tourism sector, in addition to reviewing the various tourism products that characterize the Egyptian tourist destination, stressing the importance of promoting Egyptian tourism in the Arab market during the coming period.
A number of representatives of the Jordanian media accompanying the delegation covered the activities of the visit to clarify all the precautionary measures and health safety controls taken by Egypt, and its touristic and archaeological components, which will maximize the positive impact on the tourist movement coming to Egypt.
