The Czech coach Michel Prokic, the junior sector manager at Al-Ahly club, revealed that the Egyptian player has high technical capabilities and skills that compete with European players, but he has deficiencies that we try to focus on, such as physical fitness.
"I am trying to understand the mentality of the Egyptian player, and we had to reduce the number of players and teams in order to focus on details with them, so we made the team list only 25 players," he said during statements to the "Al-Ashbal" program on Al-Ahly channel.
Prokic added, "I seek to equip young players to support the first team in the coming period, and everyone in Egypt focuses on results without paying attention to the evaluation of youth or technical matters."
"There is a big difference between the Egyptian roar and the European leagues because of the fitness rate and the physical factor that differentiates a lot for the Egyptian player, and the Egyptian players do not have a physiological culture about physical fitness, and the first thing we need to do is educate the player about the physical aspects before applying it on the field," the technical director of the junior sector of the Al-Ahly club affirmed. ".
"I am having difficulty developing a long-term plan due to the changes I am facing during my time in Egypt, although my approach tends to develop a long-term plan," the Czech coach stressed.
He added, "I am proud of Al-Ahly winning the bronze in the FIFA Club World Cup, and I am also proud of the professional atmosphere that I see at Al-Ahly, indicating that he would like to have cooperation with the youth sector in the Italian club Juventus."
