A huge fire broke out in a commercial complex near the Presidential Palace in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, while local media reported that it resulted in great material losses.
The sources pointed out that "the civil defense teams rushed to the place of the fire known locally as (Naivasha Market), in an attempt to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to a wider area," and confirmed that "the fire affected many shops, and that the losses appear to be great."
